Leslie and Preston

What do you do when one of your best friends gets married and asks you to be a bridesmaid?? You take her and her wonderful fiance’s engagement photos on a very cold day after a blizzard in North Carolina. Preston’s family has a river in their back yard.  Very beautiful, very cold, and very slippery!

It is that time for Clair Knox photography to get our own website.  I have been gathering photos and trying to decide what to do with my new company.  I am aiming…. very high… for a January.. or at least the end of January.  Please be patient and know it is coming. Here is one of my recent weddings, in Highlands, NC at the Old Edwards Inn.

I have had so many weddings that I haven’t posted anything about, please forgive me my sweet brides! One day, you might just end up on my website! I love love these two photos from the most recent wedding of Kelley and Logan! Such a great couple and wanted to show everyone how beautiful this couple is! The wedding was at the Weddington Methodist Church and the reception was at the wonderful Roof with a View.

Amanda and Kevin were married June 20th at Carrigan Farms, in Mooresville, NC the decorations were by the wonderful Deborah Bell Designs.

Here is a sneak peak with more to come!

To my beautiful bride and groom, please know that I think you are a wonderful couple. Please forgive my late posting. Life has caught up with me!!

Christina had her bridal at www.dukemansion.com. A wonderful place to rent for a bridal session!!
They were married April 25, 2009 (yes, I am behind…alot!) at Zion Methodist Church in Cornelius and the reception to follow at The Peninsula Club.

The wedding was on a rainy day, but finally at sunset, the rain stopped!  Ceremony was at Covenant Presbyterian Church and the reception was at Roof with a View.

Kristin and JP

We had Kristin and JP’s session at the Yacht Club in Cornelius. Here are some of the favorites from that day.
They are getting married May 16th! Her bridals are beautiful. So sad I can’t show them yet!

Long time….

Whew… Life has been a rush for me lately!  I am getting married in 2 weeks!!!  We have moved the photography business from the gallery to my house, and did I say I am getting married in 2 weeks?!?!
I have been busy booking weddings and shooting bridal sessions!  I have done a couple of engagements and a Natalie’s wedding on the 25th.   I am just now getting around to catching up!  So now I can post a little soon!
Thanks for your patience and hope you enjoy the photos!

I went home to Ruston, Louisiana to help plan my wedding.  :)  It was a great time with good food and lots of family time.  My mother has been left to plan my wedding for me while I am 12 hours away and is doing a great job.  We had our disagreements and arguments, but all in all, I know it will be a great time.
My parents live in the middle of the woods.  With that said, they have cows.  These cows are not like any other cows that we ever had while growing up.  These are longhorns and they are very vocal.  They love to MOOOO at you when you get close.  They are very curious and want food!  I made my dad come out there with me to take photos to be on poop control and to make sure I didn’t get a horn in my side.  We have about 10 cows, these were my favorites.

Ruston, Louisiana

Here is a couple of shots from the Kelly Moore Clark workshop I did in Ruston, LA (my hometown). Main things we learned were lighting and composition. Two of the most important things to know about photography. Even though I have a degree in photography, I learn new things every day.
Here are some shots from that day!
